The State Level Event of 20th National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) organized by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science & Technology, Hyderabad concluded today here at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Payakaraopet, Visakhapatnam district with the budding Child Scientists, Guide Teachers and Organizers participating in the event with great devotion and scientific attitude.

Presiding over the valedictory function Er.Y.Nagesh Kumar, Member Secretary, APCOST informed that the participation from the districts was overwhelming and advised the students, guide teachers and District Coordinators to continue the same tempo to benefit the society. He said that 177 Child Scientists have presented their projects before the jury members on 10th & 11th November 2012 and 30 Projects are selected for participation at the National Level Event to be held at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh State during 27-31 December 2012.

Anakapalli, participating as the Chief Guest said that sincerity, devotion to work and thirst for new knowledge are the three most important aspects in everybody’s life and these will only determine the growth and prosperity in life. Students are the builders of future India and with their continuous persuasion towards knowledge and research, India will advance in all spheres and become a superior Nation in the World, he hoped. The State Government has taken an initiative, in the form of NCSC, for developing the innate skills and talents of the students for depicting their scientific temper and outlook. Students should be exposed to Critical Learning and Creative Learning to enable them to proceed further in their pursuits of research. Students would be confident about their subjects when they do the practicals relating to the concepts.

Smt. K.Krishnaveni, District Educational Officer, Visakhapatnam District participating as the Guest of Honor, suggested the students to emulate great scientists and leaders and shape their careers to receive accolades from the highest bodies in the World.

Sri Vijay Prakash, Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Payakaraopet expressed his happiness about hosting the State Level Event and thanked APCOST for choosing their Institution for this.

Later, the dignitaries presented the certificates & Mementos to the selected Child Scientists and wished them best of luck in the National Level Event.
