Indeed, it is a great opportunity and god’s grace for me to share about my Guru Ji Sri CVS Maheshwar Guru.
Myself, SG Srinivas, was born in the village of Pasivedala and had my schooling at A.B.Z.P. High School. I use inspired by our beloved science teacher, Madam Vijaya Kumari Garu for the method of teaching lessons with the most practical approach. Inspired by her, I use to innovate many things and participated in district-level science fairs.
While studying inter at RJY (1982-83), I participated in a science fair, conducted by Rotaract Club at VT(EM) School. Results were announced on 20.02.83 and my presentation was adjudged as the Best Exhibit (seniors); the same appeared in the local newspaper “Samacharam” with the caption Creator – Sankuratri Srinivas. This incident filled my heart with a lot of confidence and enthusiasm! But, even after my engineering graduation and establishment of an industry with a lot of production also, some indescribable gap and dissatisfaction hunted me. I am really fortunate enough to have swirling thoughts about “How and what to do something strong, to my motherland?”
We know very well that, any country’s development would be depending upon excellence, in the areas of science and technology. With this aim, I strongly decided to raise and ignite scientific temper in young minds, by the way of practical and scientific ways. With a noble cause of explaining to future generations, laid paths to ignite “What I enjoyed from my childhood innovations and the way I experienced”, and started my journey in 2009. The main reason for all my services for the last 12 years is CVS Maheswar Guru Ji. He, who selected me on that day as Best Exhibitor is Guru Ji. In 1983, I don’t know, who is he. In response to my casual mail given to him on 24th September 2012; unexpectedly, he spoke to me. Within those discussions, I came to know that he is the same person, who selected me! He shared a lot of good things and inspired me. He also mentioned Andhra Kesari Science Club, and Rotaract Club members – S/Shri B Subba Rao Garu, ChagantiSarath Babu Garu, and Samacharam paper Subrahmanyam Garu.
I feel I am highly blessed by speaking to him and personally meeting my CVS Maheswar Guru Ji, twice (20th Feb 1983, 8th Dec 2012). His words in our meeting filled me with a lot of inspiration and confidence. His judgment of selecting me as Best Exhibit (seniors) was filled with enormous energy and confidence, so as to teach and reach lakhs of children with critical thinking and creativity. Both meeting points are also science fairs, which is a great coincidence. I am so fortunate enough to reiterate that, First Guru pulled out my inner talent (spotted Sishya), and later I searched for Guru; it is a historic and ever-forgettable incident in my life. On 8th Dec 2012, I am privileged to hear Guru Ji s speech. In fact, no words to describe (our) the great relationship between Guru and Sishya!
Nevertheless, Guru Ji is not physically present between us; but Gurupatni SmtSakuntala Garu and both Guruputrulu are maintaining excellent relations with all Guru Ji disciples and filling the gap in Guru Ji’s love and affection! What a great culture they inherited from Guru Ji! Guru Ji's family itself is equal to god for me. I promise to take forward his ideals, and services to the student community and strive hard to fulfill his dreams, for the generations to come.
