SOLAR VISION OF INDIA

Each one of us feel proud about promising changes in the multifaceted development of our nation because of dynamic and most industrious leadership of our  prime minister and his team.  He has closely associated in finding out solutions to gross root level problems for long years of his experience being the chief minister of Gujarat for 3 consecutive terms. This paved the way to explore more alternatives for energy generation, transmission and distribution on nationwide for a sustainable, clean and fossil-free burning of fuels. Not only energy, but also he is having short and long term visions on many problems of India followed by implementing one by one, including Digital India vision and New Education Policy (NEP) implementation.

Even on space activities, he is having future vision and understanding needs of common man. On behest of him, a satellite was built for SAARC countries (GSAT-9); he has given support for Indian Navigation System satellites series and named it as NaVic. Gagayaan project is also his brainchild only. You the “Posterity of India” are all very much fortune enough to have a PM like Modi Ji. With his advanced super vision on making our nation as self-reliance soon; he put all his efforts to make our nation from developing to developed country…a long dream becoming true in near future!

Narendra Modi’s new OSOWOG vision on solar power generation has also made a revolutionary leap; One Sun One World One Grid (OSOWOG). This moves India onto the centre stage globally, accelerating the energy system de-carbonisation to help solve climate change. To replicate its global solar leadership, by encouraging the phased development of a single globally connected electricity grid, to leverage the multiple benefits of, ever lower cost renewable energy.

International grid connectivity builds a win-win outcome. Countries like India have huge natural renewable energy resources, so win from accelerated investment in low cost, zero pollution sustainable energy, with increased scale driving electricity deflation faster. The national grid benefits from a greater ability to integrate, low cost but intermittent renewable energy, exporting surplus low cost renewable energy at times of peak generation; while at the same time, building capacity to import electricity (say from Bhutan hydro) at times of peak evening demand, when the sun has set.

From India’s current position relying on some $250 billion of fossil fuel imports annually (oil, diesel, LNG, coking and thermal coal), India can look to develop sustainable renewable energy exports, improving the current account deficit and reducing imported inflation pressures. More renewable energy means reduced water scarcity, plus less particulate and air pollution. Global investors have shown a clear propensity to invest in India’s renewable energy ambitions, and the supporting grid infrastructure needed. And for an added benefit, India moves onto centre stage globally, accelerating the energy system de-carbonisation to help solve the global climate crisis, which India did not create.

To contribute to nation building, we need to inculcate patriotism in our behaviour: PM

What I was done and presently what iam doing is service to the nation.  Few people think in their minds, service to the country means, joining army, becoming politician or winning elections ....this is not correct. Doing service also means, could be small small things ! Like a small boy bringing down electricity bill of his home, from Rs 100 to 90,  by switching of fans and lights when not in use. Avoid wastage of food by  taking what we require and consume. Also by avoiding wastage of fuel consumption when the vehicle is idle. This waste of fuel not only affects the individual but also the nation.

We need to bring a change in our attitude. From our normal affairs, we owe, my time and energy will be spent for the nation only without loss to it. We are educated, by spending time with an elderly servant who is washing your clothes, could be made her literate; is a great service to the country.

The real patriotism lies; doing small small things, by crores of people in the country !!

Are you ready to do it ?
